From The Archive : 2017 : Beatrice's Hat

I am struggling for fresh content, I always do this time of the year. I've not really gone out looking for strangers. so here is an archive shot from 2017.

This is Beatrice, a young lady, shot on a camera club model night at my friend Verity's studio.

As you saw in my recent shoot of Jaide at Verity's studio, Verity has a good selection of hats.

Sony A6000, nifty fifty and edited in ART and GIMP.

I always like a good mono. I missed Beatrice's hands when I shot the image ( I didn't take enough care on the composition ) , I think it still works though.

Funny you should mention that. When the weather or for that matter anything else limits my ability to create it most certainly is a struggle. I find that if I go either into a room or out to a particular place I just start shooting and soon I start "seeing" images that I haven't seen before. Maybe one out of 50 might be worth it but....it WAS worth it. Great portrait by the way.
