It's beginning to look a bit like Christmas ...When Phil hangs is giant Baubles !

We've had these giant baubles for the best part of 25 years. We bought them from Nottingham Ikea in probably its first year of trading (1997).

They started life at "front of house" , dangling from the brackets we hang our summer hanging baskets from.

They were then relegated to the patio trellis and now have a place in our silver birch tree by the garden pond at the top of the garden.

They still look cool especially when covered in some frost.

This is a shot from last week when we were gripped in sub zero temperatures.
