Flags (Leitz Elmar 50mm f3.5 vintage lens) by phil_howcroft

Flags (Leitz Elmar 50mm f3.5 vintage lens)

A shot from a couple of weeks ago of the flags outside the civic centre at Gedling Borough Council's headquarters.

Shot with a 70 year old vintage lens (Leitz / Leica 5cm f3.5 Elmar) on my Sony A6000

I flipped the flags so you can read "Gedling" in the "Gedling Borough " flag.
Love the vibrancy of this picture! I am red with envy, Leica is such a mythical brand!

Very nice, Leica still going strong 😊 - I didn’t know boroughs had their own flags. I’ll have to go check that out at our town hall

The back lighting and dramatic clouds make this very special.

Great work by the vintage lens in the hands of an expert. Beautiful shot. Impressive on a dark cloudy background.
