This is a Natasha who I met at the National Justice Museum last week , when we went to the Queen by candlelight concert.
Natasha was behind the bar at the venue. When I say bar , it was a set of tables with bottled beers, wine , ciders and I assume spirits in the foyer .
I know that many of the staff at the museum multi task and the way Natasha held herself and spoke I guessed she was an actor. An actor at the museum I hear you ask? Yes, the museum runs lots of different events and activities that require actors e.g. ghost tours, murder mystery evenings and events involving courtroom reenactments for students of all ages.
Natasha was indeed an actor, but was “Natasha” for the evening serving guests with their beverage of choice.
It was a difficult shoot as the Shire Hall Foyer was quite dark and lit by spotlights. I bumped the ISO up high and shot a few headshots of Natasha. On reflection I should have asked Natasha to step outside the venue, to pose in the rather grand entrance to the venue, we were some of the first guests to arrive and it was still daylight outside (it was a 6 p.m.) concert start.
I think the Sony RX100VII did a good job in difficult circumstances. Thanks for letting me photograph you Natasha
