Purely my name for this variant, it’s not the official true name (which I don’t recollect).
Dahlias have been pretty good this year, certainly compared to last which here in the UK was very dry; this is in the front and will be lifted, with the others, after the first frosts and stored over winter in the garage. Both Carole and I think the presence of the Dahlias in the meadow flower beds detract and clutter.
