Shortly after Christopher got his first vehicle (when we were dating), we thought it would be fun to explore a new place together. We decided how long a drive we thought we could fit in, looked at a map, and picked a place within our calculated radius where neither of us had ever been before. We ended up spending the weekend in Sudbury, at the southern end of northern Ontario.
We tried a breakfast restaurant that locals recommended-- part of a small chain that exists only in Quebec and northern/eastern Ontario-- and they had these mascots called La Famille Coco (The Eggy Family) that are eggs dressed up in various costumes; this figurine of Bernard, the farmer, came home from Sudbury with me. Jean-Claude, the trapper (they came with names) came from a trip to Ottawa a few years later.
When we got Jean-Claude the server said the Famille Coco figurines were being discontinued, but the ones we have are fun souvenirs.
Such a lovely story of precious times.

Another Canadian, how nice. Hi Jessica. we just got back from our visit. it was so nice the see Carmen again. I will post some pictures soon. she's our third greatgrandchild. thank you so much for the follow, I follow back. I'm in my 13th year and still loving it.
