According to my calendar, 5 April is Deep Dish Pizza Day, Caramel Day, and Read a Road Map Day! We dug out this road atlas and took a peek at the map in regard to some driving we're planning to do over the next few days.
I'm not sure why Christopher's right thumb is such a weird colour, but the photo was taken in the parking lot of a gas station and there was a lot of red signage around, so maybe it's just a weird light coming through the windshield or something.
you guys driving down to Hamilton? heard they got totality there, too; not as long as niagara but a few minutes shorter. i might play hookie from work and take the bus down but if it's cloudy, i'll stay in toronto and take a photo of the eclipse through the clouds. that would be interesting. i like looking at road maps, too, although in digital i would have no need for a magnifying glass as you can just zoom in.
@summerfield We arranged to have the day together, but waited until the last possible minute to pick a place. We ended up in Fort Erie, where the clouds kind of came and went throughout it. After a split second of totality the clouds settled in and stayed the rest of the time!
I often got lost… made it more fun
