Chris and I were saying recently that we hadn't seen any egrets this summer. Granted, it's been a topsy turvy summer for us and we might not have had as much chance to see them, but it still seemed odd. Then we saw a TON of them all together in one place, but only from afar. Tonight we finally saw one up close(ish).
