Strange looking spider. I have never seen one as colourful as this - and don't really want to either :)

Excellent shot Ugg!!

Definitely not a good find - but great shot :)

I suppose this beautiful spider (young redback ???) is in the box of the diving mask. I just imagine how it would feel if it would be in the mask you are submerged and it crawels in sight. I know I have a bit too much imagination. Fav for me.

Yikes I really hope you didn't have the mask on when you spotted it.

Well done for finding it - in both senses of the word! Like the clarity and its reflection.

Not a good thing to find anywhere let alone a mask case.
March 25th, 2016
Yikes, that is not good, cool reflection never the less :)
March 25th, 2016
Fabulous capture and reflection. The mask looks a bit worse for wear :)
March 25th, 2016
Yuk! Great capture
March 25th, 2016
Great capture, does it still live?
March 25th, 2016
Yikes

Beautiful spider. Great clear shot. The thought of it crawling around while the mask is on and your underwater...very creepy indeed. I hope this isn't a dangerous spider, but figure since it has the patch of red there's a good chance it is.

March 26th, 2016
@randystreat poisonous not deadly...not good for toddlers or eldely though
March 26th, 2016
Great capture, I haven't seen red black spider with white before
March 27th, 2016
Is this a juvenile Red back? Most of our spiders are tame - thank goodness.
March 27th, 2016
@mona65 way too much imagination. Fortunately it was hard to miss!
March 29th, 2016
@paulmann apparently there are no poisonous spiders or anything else on the Solomons so I needn't have been worried. I set it free:)
March 29th, 2016
@randystreat found out later that there are no poisonous spiders in the country so nothing to fear. No spiders suffered in the taking of this picture!
March 29th, 2016
Creepy!

Respectful shot. Love the reflection. I don't care for spiders but always try to catch and release them to anywhere else then near me.
