Spoke to a couple of guys in Boulia a few days ago who were on their way to the Alice for the Race. Also passed some BIG utes (Dodge RAMs, Ford F350s) loaded to the hilt with bikes and stuff obviously on their way also,

@terryliv yes, there are LOTS of people, bikes and trucks. At 9pm there was still a huge queue for scrutineering ! Fortunately we were done by then.
