Peachick crisis by pusspup

Peachick crisis

We woke this morning to find feathers all over the front yard and it looked as though foxes had murdered a peahen and her 2 tiny chicks. We found a peachick orphan and then Mum eventually turned up looking worse for wear. We have sent them both to the country for a new forever home. Although 1 peachick was never seen again, at least the Mum and surviving Bub will hopefully have a long happy life!
Pleased to hear the Mum turned up ... sounds like they will both have a chance...

@joansmor they're feral animals with bad habits here in Oz! But not their fault I guess....

So innocent looking. My neighbors have peacocks. I know 2 males for sure, but don't know if there are more.
