It was actually anything but a tranquil morning with a 4:30 start for a sugar cane burn however I had a lovely paddle on the river with my son and his partner st the later hour of 6am!
Lol - this is just beautiful - but whenever I hear the name of the Clarence River I can always hear my husband saying to our kids, as we drove over it's big bridge - "Ahhh - the MIGHTY Clarence River.....)
It looks like a lovely calm day except for the smoke in the distance. We have had a very smoky week due to the bushfires so I don't envy you the effects of the smoke
