I know, I know, another tree! But isn't it lovely despite being in (or past) its death throes due to drought.

surprisingly it may shoot again when you get rain - many of our natives throw their leaf in drought and just kind of wait it out. some of mine literally started sprouting within hours of the big rain falling - you had to see it to believe how fast it was!
