I spent a morning in King's Park in Perth before leaving yesterday and took lots of pictures of Banksias as I love them and they have such a range there that we can't grow in the East. I only had the iphone and I flattened the battery doing this! Fortunately I went straight to the airport and home as they locked down the borders mid flight and I didn't get caught to quarantine in WA or at home, though I did go out and have the yucky test just in case!
We do have some gorgeous banksias and this is definitely one of them. I'm glad that you didn't caught up in our lockdown and well done on the precautionary test. I fear that we won't be as lucky this time around and things could get messy as there was a second case of community spread virus today :(
Beautiful flower, the leaves are really interesting too. Glad you got home. We are having lots of restriction here to. No travel between health region... which are very small. I have to cross 3 to get to work which should be interesting on Tuesday.
