A fascinating and unexpected (again) experience at the Undara lava tubes. The biggest in the southern hemisphere and quite amazing. This pic is from our first sighting (on the tour) of the first lava tube, and it was like seeing the lost world through the arch, where part of the tube had collapsed and jungle had grown up over time.
Oh, with this one you brought back so good memories, from our first trip to Australia,... you can bet, that hubby and I will be lost in our memory story of the journey to the Undara lava tubes at lunch. Thanks for that and for this great picture of this special world,...
@mona65 Of all the places to visit in Australia, fancy you going there! I'd never even heard of them before. they were amazing and I was pleased we didn't have to swim. @ludwigsdiana thanks Diana, it was a fascinating place to see and experience.
LOL - and here's another one - but they are just so amazing that they draw people from far and wide. Funnily enough, Errol's cousin used to own these - but we never went into them while he was there - they were pretty rough and ready at that stage.
@ludwigsdiana thanks Diana, it was a fascinating place to see and experience.
