I prefer trees by pyrrhula

I prefer trees

They looks like becomming a wood off.

Good to see here how most of the country is arranged. There is a ditch for drainage around the plot. To get to the land there are dams that you can cross. In this photo on the right behind the tree. ( also to be used to waith if a car comes from the other side.) Most of the country does not have barbed wire or other fencing so that you. and the farmer with his machines can easily access it.
Lovely lines and lots of precious space

I like the structure of this photograph.
What’s the shelf life of a windmill??

@fbailey. That`s one of the reasons why so many windmills are in this area.

A great composition. A lot of people don't like windmill but I like them even if they are not the most pretty thing to see in the landscape.

This is a windmill version of your tree photo from yesterday, Ferry- with the one windmill in the foreground and lines of them behind. I prefer trees, too, but this is a great shot of the land and the smart way of using it. Lovely sky, too! Fav

They do fascinate me, but I've heard they don't produce as much electricity as the companies want you to think. I've even seen piles of the old ones- what do you do with these massive pieces of metal when they are no longer useful? So I would have to say those who dislike them have good reason! Nice shot.

While the wind turbines fascinate me, trees are prettier.

They do like like a strange forest on the horizon.

Lovely shot and such a pretty looking day there.

A lovely shot, with nice leading lines - fav! I also prefer trees, but sadly it seems that wind turbines have become an essential part of our future.

Nicely explained, thank you

I thik that colour of windmills isn't similar to colours in nature (and wings are so sharp!) - maybe that's why people don't love they?
