spot the wren

A pair of wrens have a nest in the climbing rose/winter jasmine/grapevine outside our kitchen window. I can hear the little birds cheeping loudly and see the wrens darting back and forth with food. But I can't see the nest.
I think the amount of time I took to get this shot of one of the parent birds is disproportionate to the quality of the photograph....................
We were just remarking today that we hadn't seen one in the garden since winter. I heard a clicking sound today and hoped it was a wren but no.....a robin! Lucky you and time well spent for this capture :-)

Oh but she's lovely - they really do flit about as well!

@Cherrill @judithg thank you both - I feel cheered up by your comments as I was a tad disappointed with the photo.

You've done very well to capture this dear little wren! They are quite shy normally, we have them nesting somewhere too but they flit around so fast. Really nice shot of the little chap!

We have wrens around our garden and I've posted some pics but you have to take loads before you get any really good ones. It is nice to see your pic and to know that you have a nest as well. Mine have moved over to the other side of the garden now the babies (all 7 of them) are out and about so I have to listen to know where they are. Not so easy to find them once they get their confidence to explore!

@scatz @tishpics @tobi @rosiekind Thanks for all coments and info. My wren pics were taken through the patio window, partly as it was cold and wet outside, also as soon as I went out the wrens changed their flight path! How to tell a male from a female wren? It took me a while to realise they were two zooming about the garden.
