a sort of hypericum by quietpurplehaze

a sort of hypericum

this one has much smaller flowers (in little clusters) than most of the hypericum I see in gardens round here - haven't been able to identify it exactly so maybe somebody can help
These are the ones I have. If you google hypericum you will find all sorts of info there. Not sure myself of its full name. I love them with their star like flowers and then the red/black berries.

Very, very nice. Lovely vibrant yellow and really like how you have captured the reflection in the raindrops.

Very pretty and I love the buds - they look so attractive with their little star of pale leaves (or sepals) around. Funny how we used to search out water droplets - now no need!!!

Sorry I can't help with the identification. This would be great without the water however the droplets give it another element of interest. The colours are vibrant and alive, the shapes of the opened blosoms are unreal and I am loving those little "mini me" buds still developing but looking cute.

@Cherrill I'd temporarily forgotten about the lovely berries. I had a look at Google, thanks, before I posted the shot but the wealth of information defeated me - will have another look later!

@creativeamateur @tishpics @doblaine Ha, yes how funny that we would have looked for raindrops on flowers etc and now they are everywhere. I saw at least two similar shots on my walk with Jinks this morning. Thanks for your appreciation.

@quietpurplehaze Why thanks Hazel, this was taken at my Sons 30th B/day party, the theme was Musical Theatre, I was the Usherette, I had Bubbles, Lollipops and Party poppers in my tray.

This is a very pretty little version - it seems to be doing well in general this year.

@judithg It's everywhere here - mostly the type with large flowers - bushes, hedges, close to the ground.......................
