In addition to having a sore pad on his left paw, Jinks has somehow managed to cut the front of this paw plus damage a claw. So he's well and truly incapacitated and his paw well and truly bandaged. We're now having car walks (drive to the local park and then take a little turn around on the grass) which are easier for me than carry walks!
He has another lampshade collar but seems unable to eat his food wearing this new one, so I had to hand feed him breakfast this morning. What a relief I don't have to go to work as well...............
@doblaine David, thanks from Jinks for get well wishes! I'm not sure exactly what it is on his leg - not plaster but feels quite hard. He seems happier now he has that on and absolutely knows he cannot bite/lick his paw.
@andrewrome365 p.s. Jinks is one determined Cairn terrier. I just caught him starting to get the end of his bandage off his leg so have had to put his old lampshade collar back on as the new design is evidently not up to the wiliness of this breed!
Oh poor you Hazel, it's awful having an incapacitated pet! Love his leopard print bandage, where did it come from! I do feel sorry for you both! Hope he will soon get better. Nice shots though!! (sorry Jinx)
@tishpics The vet put on the leopard print bandage - she didn't ask him to choose a colour!! I have to say that I'd like to be more
'up-together' than I am when Jinks is poorly.
Poor Jinks. He can still smile behind that dreaded collar.Olivia sends her sympathy and wishes him a speedy recovery. Love the leopard print bandage - very classy "lol"
