I saw those on our market to today . 4 cost 1 €. I`ve try it but it`s not a favorite of mine. The colors are . Nice capture

@pyrrhula Thank you. I don't like them either! Ray loves them. And I make a nice fig tart with almonds. (But I am not a sailor like you - the only boats I like to go on are those big enough to take vehicles.)

@gnilrets Thank you - I also photographed purple aubergines, grapes and avocados but the figs were the best subject.

@quietpurplehaze Very basic recipe..........

Quarter figs onto a plate
Either saute goats cheese until warmed or make into balls, breadcrumb and deepfry for 1 minute.
Spoon honey over the cheese and figs and sprinkle almond slivers.
If you want to serve as a warm supper place all ingredients in saute pan and warm through.
Bon Apetite.
