@maggiemae Thank you - little did I know when I bought 4 gold metal Christmas decorations, including this stocking, a few years ago, that I would be posting one of them on a photographic site for 'word of the day'!

However the gold does look lovely with the green of the tree.
I have a gold angel similar to your stocking but she is too heavy to go on the tree.
@purplehaze12 Next year purple maybe! I think your angel is possibly a larger version of two I have which just hang on the tree. Do you put her on the mantelpiece?

She is hanging from the curtain pole in the bay window. We used to have a bigger tree which we put in the bay window and she hovered just above it, suspended from the pole.
But the stock won`t hold the presents I hope to get .
