Anyone like to re-write the following ditty for 'dog'?
"There was a little girl
Who had a little curl
Right in the middle of her forehead.
And when she was good
She was very, very good
But when she was bad
She was horrid!"
(Longfellow)
Thanks for your comments and the fav, Beryl. Ray had to go out and confront Jinks after our meal, whereupon JInks did what he usually does in the circumstances, cock his leg (I think he finds it reassuring when he knows he's in trouble!), and Ray took the opportunity to grab him.
I've got a dog with an attitude too! She obeys when she wants to obey. I'm sorry to say we resort to bribing. Cheerios work perfectly! Jinks gave me the morning smile and to you I give heart felt sympathy! I love the glimpse of your yard - beautiful!
We resort to bribing too but this time it didn't work: toastie, bit of bonio, even a bit of camembert if you ever heard anything so ridiculous! (The pansies have done so well in the pots this year)
just love that over the shoulder look at you... and you are right, the pansies are so pretty.
My dog Barney used to be the same.....would completely ignore any verbal instructions..........do the same commands, no words, just gesticulating with a biscuit in hand...instant obedience!!
