Today Ray took me 'on safari' in Southampton around the rhino trail by Marwell Wildlife. Augustus is one of 36 outdoor rhino sculptures on location in the city until the autumn when they will be sold at a charity auction. Augustus was created by students from a local college and stands across the road from the Cenotaph.
OH..he is wonderful!!! Lovely capture of him We had cows around town a couple of years ago for the same type of charity event.. It's a wonderful thing!!
His colors are awesome...would like to see more of them????
There will be more! And I'm interested you had cows as today I heard a mum tell her toddler as he approached a rhino sculpture: 'No dear, it's not a cow, it's a rhino.'
This is getting to be a great sport! I did the Wenlock and Mandeville walks around London during the Olympics and have recently found the grommit statues in Bristol!
Thank you and watch this space!

Elephants sound good!
I think we have to go back to see the rest as we found out near the end that some rhinos are inside buildings too!
I have to say that it was a great fun few hours!!
