Kane, thank you. Knowing I was going to start this back to basics thread, I put the correct lens on my camera and went out into the garden to see what I could find. I've always maintained that I don't do much post-processing but it's emerging that I was doing more than I realised!!
Wonderful shot of this Golden Rod, I have lots of this Hazel, spring time I lift and then split it up and give some away and transfer the other round the Garden, a must for any Garden...Fav
Great "themonthofyellow" photo and fits perfectly!! This makes me sneeze just to look at it!! LOL We have sooooooooooo much of golden rod that lines both sides of our road that we have constant allergies. We try to kill as much as we can but it seems to love the stuff!! LOL Great shot and details!! FAV!
Jonathan, ditto!
I know already that it's going to be such a good discipline - for me, anyway!
Ah, yes love those. I think wattle is what we call mimosa: http://365project.org/quietpurplehaze/365/2014-03-29
Ferry, thanks and I'm going to try to remember the name, never knew it.

Ah, the same 'common' name in both languages. We have two plants of gulden roede and one always flowers before the other.
That's a bonus for me, William!
Yes, this plant is quite tenacious!
