I took this photo standing in Birling Gap, which is literally a gap in the cliffs between Beachy Head, the highest cliff on the south coast, and this sweep of cliffs called Seven Sisters.
Ray tells me that Seven Sisters is now called Eight sisters because erosion has now made 8 peaks in the sweep of cliff instead of 7.
I had trouble counting either!
Many thanks for sweeping both yesterday's photos to PP on Valentine's Day - one mine, the other Ray's!
!!! LOL
Probably new and amongst ramblers!
I could not do it - Ray tells me that the reason lots of folk choose Beachy Head, just up the road, to jump, is that it's the highest cliff.
Eight Angels? ( I think they are the requisite colour according to popular 'parlance'?!)
