A new variety of tulip for us this year. But they get too big for their boots and keep falling over in the pot!

@quietpurplehaze Interesting. I have seen some species tulips with fringed edges like this but they usually did open up so their petals were more separated.

I actually mistakenly thought these were parrot tulips which are totally beautifully when open so I am a tad disappointed with them!

Looks beautiful with it pretty petals and colour. Perhaps it needs some twiggy twigs to support the flowers.
