You've taken Ray back to his childhood and memories of boiled egg with soldiers! (I suppose that was a 'carrot' to get children to eat boiled egg). This is a historic shot taken with my Lumix FZ62, the last one to be posted here as I am about to (try to) sell it.
@quietpurplehaze I ALWAYS have soldiers with my boiled eggs - it's a must! Because I'm on holidays before I start my new job, I've been having luxury breakfasts every day. This morning was a fried egg and a bit of bacon with some home made zucchini chutney on an English muffin. Goodness me it was divine! And good luck selling your camera :)
@quietpurplehaze ooohhhh now I'm thinking about what I can cook up tomorrow! And I apologise - I think I have caused an uproar on your project about excluding soldiers!!!
That's very interesting as I seem to have few or no early memories...............................I think the ones I have are what somebody, say my mum, told me, like sitting crying on the teacher's knee on my first day at school.
Sam, the things I do for you - first giraffes and now boiled eggs (without soldiers!)

Egg and bacon, with mushrooms, tomatoes AND fried bread, is my favourite breakfast. (About once a fortnight! {food police}).
We buy a tray of 20 so there are still 18 left - how long will it take you to get over?!!!!
Ah, already at work! (At least I am dressed this morning!)
It's probably not p.c. to call strips of bread soldiers, let alone dip them in runny yellow yolk....
Well, perhaps, like me they can't cook them! Ray does ours - and if I fry an egg, odds are the yolk will break.........
I don't know!!!!! (What I am thinking!!)

You wouldn't have liked Ray's then. He said his was a bit soft - I think he must have taken it out of the saucepan first!
