vapour trails annoy me on the rare occasions when they appear here. They look like litter to me....or graffiti. somebody does not care how much mess and pollution their activities create so long as they make plenty of money. It is a very good shot none the less Hazel. I love the way the sun is peeping under that arch of vapour.

Wow - looks like meteors falling to earth or maybe UFO's?? I love vapour trails. There's something quite magical about them. Nice capture!! FAV.

@doblaine Many thanks, David, and I've never seen anything like it in the sky here before. We live about 5 miles from Southampton Airport but are never troubled by planes coming over - maybe these were just very high in the sky and just coincidentally around at the same time.
