A small and belated September update for 2024, where I am still, after many years' membership, on 365 Project, also now posting elsewhere but wanting...
Gorgeous portrait of dear sweetie Bah Humbugs -- how could you --at least the bag could be tied with a red bow !! Alfie has packets of his usual biscuits & treats and an old toy or ball wrapped in some old paper to amuse him !!
Gorgeous Jinks!! I have got a stocking for Finlay with treats and a toy - I can't believe i have done this - I have gone soft in the head I think!! LOL!!
No turkey - we're having a roast shoulder of lamb - far too rich for Jinks. He really does like tennis balls more than all of his existing cuddly toys and today I made a big sacrifice and gave him some of my manchego!!!
Never look a given horse in his mouth. For gifts the intention matters.
And you always like bags.
Lovely capture of cute Jinks. Give him a big bone for a chance.
Don't tell Jinks about Alfie's pressies, Beryl! And I just used the last bit of red ribbon to decorate a parcel!
He doesn't get a present, Pat - all he plays with is used tennis balls. Perhaps I'll put TWO in the paper bag this year!

I used to buy toys for Jinks but after a while realised that once he had 'killed' each one, he just lost interest!
Thanks, Lynda, it's a pleasure to know you here too xx
Bit like children really who discard the present and play with the wrapping paper!
