I'm taking this lone ladybird I saw today to be a harbinger of spring. It's been a gorgeous day, bright and sunny and as I drove home from the German group this afternoon, the sunset was absolutely glorious - bright vibrant light, huge fluffy pink clouds.... Nowhere to stop and take a photo and it took me an hour to travel what usually takes 20 mins - more roadworks and a road closure.
I'm lucky to be able to relax now as Neil is making a turkey stir-fry for the evening meal and there's leftover plum crumble that I made.
A small and belated September update for 2024, where I am still, after many years' membership, on 365 Project, also now posting elsewhere but wanting...
I commented earlier, but it seems to have vanished into the ether somewhere. Great shot, and I really hope you are right about Spring. We can get feet of snow into April and May around here.
Feet of snow in April and May - wow! We had some snow one April but only a sprinkling in comparison. (I sometimes forget to press Post Comment and then find my comment has disappeared.)
My hand was wobbly so one of the other members of the German group lent me her knee to lean on - she could become my tripod?!!
Or (s)he wanted to please you to be able to make this beautiful pic.

We have the fog and a bit of frost this morning (Tues).
