A small and belated September update for 2024, where I am still, after many years' membership, on 365 Project, also now posting elsewhere but wanting...
This was the photo opp I saw as I got out of the car. I took several other shots and then found I'd left the camera on 'macro zoom' so this needed a retake and is the last photo I took just before I got back into the car.
Wonderful reminder of how beautiful our country is........balmy Hazel... I think it's pretty wintry after being in hot climes!! Just look at that sky though, can't be bettered anywhere!
I am on the next bench, sat there enjoying the sunshine with the help of Harry's (Potter) invisibility cloak. A beautiful shot, just the right place to sit and relax; enjoy the Sunday roast, ours was lovely even if I do say so myself:0)
Views like this & being beside the sea, makes you glad to be alive, doesn't it ! Sure hope the sea air invigorated you & your appetite. This beautifully composed shot wetted my appetite for sitting on that bench.
This has so many qualities that make it a fav: great composition, wonderful balance of color, a bench with folks there!, and lovely daffies, wait, and water. Superb job! Fav.
Thank you, Daryl, and thanks for explaining how you see the pic and fav it - it helps me to identify why I took it - I just saw the shot immediately. Thanks to the council for planting all the daffs!

I can imagine, Pat, that right now your definition and mine of 'balmy' are bound to be different!
Aha, jokes AND invisibility cloaks!
