Posted for black and white Wed. I find it interesting that the tall trees and the high Georgian buildings seem to fool the eye into thinking that this photo is in something other than landscape format.
Such stately trees and dignified building - perfect composition. Except for the cars I'm guessing this scene looks the same as it might have 100 years ago.
I really like this composition and the selective colour. The detail on the b&w is good too. I think I'd have slightly cropped the right-hand side to get that tree trunk out though. Fav.
Marc, thank you - I think my brain is programmed to red when I have the camera on that s/c setting! And there does seem to be a lot of red about in street scenes.

This is where I start to feel a bit guilty and the need to explain that my Fuji X20 does this all by itself - so I just have to find the scene!!
Yes, most of the housing in Georgian Bath centre is like this - some flats, some whole houses - I wish!
