She lives with our friends we visited yesterday.
She has a wobbly arthritic walk, is virtually blind and deaf.
She is nineteen years old.
She enjoys a beautiful garden full of spring flowers and blossom trees.
It was quite hard to get some photos of her as firstly she did that cat thing of coming right up to the camera.
Secondly she sat for ages on my lap with her back to me.
I know she can still catch her dinner as I found a dead mouse on the grass.
Her name is Gemma.
A small and belated September update for 2024, where I am still, after many years' membership, on 365 Project, also now posting elsewhere but wanting...
Stunningly beautiful shots ,and a great composed collage --very artistic Hazel A big fat fav for me . May you and Ray enjoy the peace and joy of Easter !! x
I find cats irresistable - unfortunately they are getting some bad press at the moment with ludicrous reports about meningitus and tuberculosis. Sadly there are plenty of people who actually believe what they read in the newpapers, so we need some good stuff about cats and pics on here can only help! This elderly lady is very sweet - fav
Such a great age & what a happy old age she is having........summer is here & she can look forward to a warm lie in the sun so where quiet....I always say if I had to come back on earth it would be as a cat!
A very Happy Easter to you & yours Hazel.
Gemma is beautiful. Still mousing, an example to us all in old age! (Not that I mouse!) Love the collage - how do you do that, Hazel - sorry if I've asked that before.
Thank you, Beryl for the comment and fav and the wish is reciprocated to you. It was certainly very tranquil in our friends' beautiful garden.
A very Happy Easter to you & yours Hazel.
I'm coming back as a pig on a free range farm!
It's just on Picmonkey with the 'corner' framing option on the collage facility accentuated.
