Yesterday we went to the exhibition of International Wildlife Photographer of the Year. One photographer had camped for 7 days outside the den of an Amur leopard and was rewarded by a shot of her and her two cubs. There are now only 14-20 adult Amur leopards left in the wild.
I guess I'll go back to Marwell Zoo and have a bit more patience to stand outside the Amur leopard's den there. But the cub only comes out once or twice a day - and I'm not really a patient photographer.
A small and belated September update for 2024, where I am still, after many years' membership, on 365 Project, also now posting elsewhere but wanting...
Actually I did think of that as I posted it. Will have a go and flag it up to you if I post it. Which camera do you use, Trisha? Could not find the details on your pic info - you get some cracking shots with it.
Do Hazel! Love a black and white zebra. I use a Nikon D610. Replaced my old trusty D90 when Archie dropped it around April. Wonder why my details don't show??
Brilliant close up. You did so well to get this zebra with his nose above the ground. Every one I have seen has been so busy grazing. Maybe I just spotted them at the wrong time of day.
@quietpurplehaze Love this guy and I definitely like the color best. The subject is already in b&w, for me the green behind him adds interest and contrast.

I think there's been a problem with EXIF etc info - for about a week mine went missing and I had done nothing different. Thanks for info re camera.
Thanks for the feedback.
