This is the church spire and some of the cottages at Bosham Village (pronounced Bozzum) which lies on an inlet of Chichester Harbour.
Bosham has the honour of a mention in the second scene of the Bayeux Tapestry which refers to the meeting of Harold and Edward the Confessor in 1064, en route to meet William of Normandy, to discuss who would succeed Edward to the throne.
It shows the scene: "Where Harold, duke of the English, and his knights ride to Bosham Church."

Yes, I agree place names are very idiosyncratic for pronunciation. Near our home in Suffolk is Barham, pronounced Barrum - or something like it!
