backstroke penguin style

I heard on the TV news that there are baby meerkats at Marwell Zoo. But it was cold and windy when I got there and I guess they were warm and snug in their burrow.

So here's a shot of one of my penguin friends. My last visit to the zoo for a while as I'm not renewing my annual pass. It's been interesting but after all, a zoo is a zoo is a zoo - with all the attendant barriers of glass, fences, wires, bars etc, even when it's a special conservation zoo.
