Following a suggestion and trying a drastic crop of yesterday's Miss Blackbird. Drastic measures needed when Ray's shot gets on PP and mine doesn't. (Je rigole, naturellement!)
I think the main drawback is that Miss Blackbird needs a bit more space in front of her beak? What I found, in trying to create a bit more space, is that it's really hard to clone out a bird feeder pole and a bit of bokeh!)

p.s. I note that this was taken almost at the limit (210mm) of my long zoom and think it does credit to the Sony a6000.
