We had the privilege to be in the audience at a classical guitar recital at Winchester Cathedral yesterday lunchtime, given by the talented Michael Christian Durrant: a fabulous concert of French and Spanish pieces.
I wished I'd had my portrait lens to ask for a shot afterwards but when we spied him later on his way home I couldn't resist a quick shot. A name to watch out for, I'm sure.
What a wonderful experience. I heard Julian Bream many years ago in King's College Chapel, and that was a memorable concert. A great street scene, which works really well in b&w.
