We were looking for a gift to send our daughter, Clare, when we met Mary Ellen, who greeted us with the offer of a cup of green tea with lemon. There were no other customers so we soon fell into conversation and Mary was happy to have her photo taken.
I wanted to post both a traditional portrait photo and the full length shot so I decided to make a collage of Mary Ellen in her work environment.. The mimosa background is from a shop display and I made the collage on Picasa 3.
When she is not at work, Mary Ellen loves dancing: especially tap dancing (this reminded me of having red tap shoes with red ribbons as a child!) and lindyhop, and 60s music, in particular Northern Soul.

Babs, yes, I sent her each photo individually and also the collage. I'm now sending photos via email to each person who is willing to be in my project.
