bathtime

Jinks hates a bath - so much so that he's too frightened to start growling until I lift him out of the water, (It's OK, just low-level growling.)

I wear an old top and pair of jeans (no underwear) as I get absolutely soaked. (The good news is that although the jeans are years old, I can still get into them.)

Tomorrow comes the trim for which I have to enlist Ray or Neil's help - just to keep Jinks still.
Poor Jinks , but too much info as regards to your dress code Hazel !! ha ha !!

Poor Jinks, he is in for a couple of traumatic days isn't he. Hope he has some treats to help him recover.

Cute picture! I'm trying to imagine you in old jeans...

I had to click the 'read more' tab Hazel to discover why you don't wear underwear! Bless little Jinks. Our little dog doesn't growl when being bathed, but just sort of mumbles to himself in a disgruntled manner.

Ah yes, but you must feel so nice after your bath Jinks. Miss Elke just disappears when she senses the bath is imminent. Lovely shot Hazel :)

@jantan

A bit of strategic positioning of text!!

@hermann

Jinks would disappear. We catch him on the lead when he comes back from a walk. Otherwise he'd be under the table with no chance of getting him out!!!

Bath time is the same for Sophie... hang in there Jinks

@brillomick

Glad we are not the only ones! Needless to say, Jinks does not get a bath very often. Thanks for fav and stopping by.

Yes, I recall bathing our flat coat retriever. Soak, soap up, rinse the. Run for cover!

Oh dear Hazel.....sounds a long process that you must all dread. I can imagine the whole scene! Do you think he would behave better if he was done at the dog parlour? Sometimes they agree if someone else does it! He might like having the works, hair dryer etc!

Aww, he doesn't look too happy, but I bet he struts around pretty proud after his bath and trim are done.
