We rented a flat in Lymington for a week last October. Went across on ferry to IOW as foot passengers. It was lovely there.

I think it's pretty much on the hour. It was funny: we arrived for the 12.15 sailing just one minute before the 11.15 sailing (I like to be early but Ray cannot stand sitting in queues) and were ushered straight on to the ferry so gained an extra hour on IOW that day.

Nice capture we did the same as you years ago and got on the earlier IOW ferry home . I always have to be early but Hubby won' t rush himself which annoys me. We took our caravan over and visited Hubby's brother who used to live there.

Great shot of the ferry. We use to have two of them to cross the river Scheldt. Now there is a tunnel. Miss those boats.
