Scales in the Victorian kitchen at Cotehele.

I cannot answer the question why there are 3 brass taps in the copper sink I posted a shot of yesterday.

It's really bugging me - might have to send the National Trust an email!

Great find and capture . The 3rd tap is possible for rainwater stored in a tank.

Lovely composition. I mentioned in your tap photo that maybe the third tap could be a sluice tap, but not sure. Hope you can find out.

I have an old weighing scale that uses weights such as these. They look lovely but I got fed up of cleaning them so they now live under the stairs!

I use a weighing scale and weights like thee. I also got fed up of cleaning them. So they live on a hidden shelf above the wine rack out of sight in the kitchen. And I still use them!
