Ducks take to water

The day after the waters crested in this river, I went to see just how high it got and saw these two ducks swimmer where there used to be a path down to the river.

( that song is one of my first childhood memories. My dear Grandma had that record. and just after WW2 there where not a lot of USA songs records in our country.Forbidden by the Germans.)

@fbailey Yes indeed. 7-8 inches in one day. A little further east it was even worse.
@tunia I actually welcomed this rain at first. My yard was cracking it has been so dry. I think one of my dogwoods has been suffering too. @digitalrn Thank you Rick.
