Then I got a challenge from my "assigned" partner. I was challenged to participate in 5+2-for-the-love-of-selfies-art-history challenge. Phew! I'm not well versed in art history, I couldn't think of anything I'd like to bare my body or I had props for. So I kind of cheated. The original is actually a painting I took of Georges Seurat's painting A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte which I took when I visited the Chicago Art Institute several years ago. I only put my face it which was small. The pointillist technique of the painter sort of blurred it, so I added a hint to where I was in the painting.
@frappa77 I'm not sure that this is really what the 5+2 challenge meant - to insert myself in a painting, but...oh well. Thanks for making me think. And research.
