Last ‘clean’ shot

The Japanese beetles are back and had already eaten some holes in some of the other rolled-up lilies. Shortly after taking this shot, I treated the lilies and the other beetles’ favorites with Sevin. Sigh.

It's pretty. Too bad for the beetles. I need to treat my plants for white fly and any treatment is not compatible with butterfly eggs!

They can be nasty, and hopefully the treatment will save them from too much destruction
