Such long shadows … before 3 p.m.

The days have certainly become short. That probably has something to do with my recent lack of photographic-inspiration and -motivation. Well, at least I’d like to *think* it does!

I shot this scene twice: once this way, “landscape,” and once portrait. The portrait orientation can capture some of the long shadows but more of the tree height. This perspective gives up the tree height, but since my purpose with the image is the lengths of the shadows, I chose this image to post. Thoughts anyone?

I assume this is a shot of your daily stroll from the parking lot?

@digitalrn Oops, failed to explain. This more-effective perspective is from a 3rd-floor window about 20 feet from my 4th-floor office door!
