“Macaela”

A student from my last Econ 113 class (a "gen ed" class, for non-economics majors) whom I have had the privilege to get to know since the class ended more than a year ago. Today we met up outside the campus library for a catching-up chat. While I don't miss all the other stuff from 30+ years being a professor, I do miss the one-on-one time during office hours, which sometimes afforded the opportunity of getting to know the students outside of class.
