Pre-finals week service dog visit

Yesterday when I met with Macaela — http://365project.org/rhoing/365/2015-05-06 — we saw grounds people marking off an area with stakes. I inquired and learned that today there would be service dogs available for students' pre-final exam stress relief.

“SIT Service Dogs” — http://www.sitservicedogs.com/ — brought several dogs today and they'll be back again tomorrow. When I emailed Macaela why the stakes were placed yesterday, she replied that she had learned why, too. She said her family had always had at least one dog … until last November when the last family dog passed away (old age). So she stopped on campus and visited the service dogs, as the young woman in the photo did, too. (FWIW, it seemed to be almost entirely young women who took advantage of this opportunity.)

This is not my first service dog post — http://365project.org/rhoing/365/2013-11-26
They're amazing animals, to be sure!
