One person’s art…

[Taken with my repaired point-and-shoot, http://365project.org/rhoing/365/2016-01-10 ]
In the Gallery Room of the Varsity Center for the Arts, for which I serve as secretary on the Board of Directors, is a podium on casters that was a commissioned work for a deceased member of the local theater group. The podium is supported on three posts and three vines rise from the base, loosely wrapping around the posts. I can appreciate the craftsmanship, but I guess it’s not my cup o’ tea, though it makes a good subject for gray-scaling to black-and-white!

It makes a nice silhouette and shadow, and because it's in a theater, maybe it was designed to do so.

Very cool crop and subject. Love iron scroll work.
