Into the woods

[All the furniture is moved back.]

Today I went to campus to meet with a former student — http://365project.org/rhoing/365/2015-05-06 (She wanted to ask if I would write a letter of recommendation for her graduate school applications … and she had the poise-and-maturity to ask face-to-face. Smart girl. Not that I would have said "no" if it had been in an email, but asking for a meeting and then making the request in a f2f meeting is the classy and grown-up approach that not all of her peers would recognize.)

This is a lame shot on my way back to my car after meeting with Macaela, whose birthday was yesterday. (It’s an easy date to remember, yes?)

Nice path. Reminds me of my favorite one in college. How wonderful the girl knew to ask in person. Hey, I notice the name is Thompson Woods!

Could not agree with you more about the f2f! I mostly get emails OR requests from agencies.
